Igbonla Kidnap: Lagos State Govt confirms release of pupils, teachers; vows to rid state of criminals




the lagos state government on wednesday showed the release of the four students and instructors of the lagos country version college (senior and junior) igbonla in epe who have been abducted with the aid of suspected ex-ijaw militants on october 6, 2016, assuring that the government might spare not anything till it rids the state of criminal elements.

the authorities, in a statement signed via the commissioner for facts and approach, mr. steve ayorinde, said the children have passed through medical test-up after which they were reunited with their households.

"the lagos kingdom authorities nowadays welcomed the release of the faculty pupils, vice-principal and head instructor of igbonla model university, epe, who were kidnapped by suspected ijaw militants on thursday october 6, 2016. the youngsters are doing properly; they have been taken via medical checkup and were effectively reunited with their households."

ayorinde, while restating the government’s dedication to defend lives and property, but entreated residents to be extra vigilant, protection conscious and file all suspected humans and objects visible within their neighbourhood to the appropriate security agencies.
